Frequently asked questions

Am I registered to vote?

Visit the Secretary of State's "Go Vote Colorado" website to check. You can register there too. https://www.sos.state.co.us/voter/pages/pub/home.xhtml

If I'm not registered, can I still vote?

Yes! You can register and vote up until 7pm on Election Day (May 7, 2019). Go to a Voter Service and Polling Center. There you can both register and vote.

I just moved to Denver. Can I vote?

If you lived in Denver before April 15, you can register to vote online at GoVoteColorado.com. Or you can go to any Voter Service and Polling Center until when polls close at 7pm on May 7.

Do I need an I.D. to vote?

That depends. If this is your first time voting and you did not provide I.D. when you registered to vote, then you will need to include a copy of your I.D. with your ballot. If your I.D. is needed, your ballot will indicate that.
